Senior Electrical Engineer (OPEN)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in static/dynamic and stability studies for Transmission Systems.

As a Senior Power System Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to conduct power system studies, focusing primarily on HVDC links and FACTS across Europe. A strong proficiency in RMS platforms such as PowerFactory is essential, and a solid understanding of converter control theory and/or HVDC modeling will be considered a significant advantage.

Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing to their development and the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and execute Power System Studies.
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of Power System Studies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Power System Studies.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerFactory (knowledge of PSCAD and PSSe will be considered a plus).
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Basic understanding of converters' control theory and/or HVDC modeling is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of German is highly desirable.
